- Chris Smith Review added: 2018.05.25★ ★ ★ ★ ★Until recently I was employed on a part time basis at Avon Park. It was with a heavy heart I left after 14 years. In all honesty I cannot believe that 14 years could go by so quickly, and the reason it did was the friendliness of the place. It just never felt like work and I feel privileged to have so many wonderful memories of my time there.
From my very first day to my last you could guarantee the warmth of the welcome from staff and residents alike as soon as you walk in the building and it was the same for everyone who entered. Be it visitor, health workers, tradesmen, postie etc etc.
Its also just about the warmest place temperature wise I have ever been. The gas bill must be massive but I think that just shows the level of care shown towards the residents.
Take a look. I am confident you will be impressed.
- Rhona Smythe Review added: 2018.04.06★ ★ ★ ★ ★At the time of writing, Mum is more than a year into her new life at Avon Park, and I can confidently say you couldn't find a kinder, more patient and caring team, ably looking after a disparate group of elderly people. Each and every one of the staff goes to great lengths to keep all the residents healthy, happy and as active as possible. Waited on hand and foot, and with her pot plants, piano practice, bird feeders, along with everything else, Mum enjoys her residential care wholeheartedly.
